Have you hiked from one rim of Grand Canyon to the other?
Referred to as a Rim-to-Rim hike, this epic
adventure is not for the faint of heart. Most hikers choose to start at the North Rim on the North Kaibab Trail, descending 14 miles and 6,000 feet to the bottom of the canyon before connecting with the Bright Angel Trail and ascending 4,500 feet and 9.5 miles to the South Rim. At the bottom of the canyon is Phantom Ranch and the Bright Angel Campground where hikers can pause for a night during their trip though the canyon.
